Fix Schools and Expand Infrastructure: Double annual capital funding to clear the school repair backlog once and for all, upgrade heating and air conditioning, and eliminate portables by building 90 new schools over four years.
Keep Kids and Educators Safe at School: Hire more education workers and mental health professionals, lower student-to-staff ratios, and reverse Ford’s $1,500 cuts to per student funding.
Give Kids the Education They Need to be Ready for the Future: Hold school boards accountable, negotiate fair wages through free and fair collective bargaining, increase the number of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs), feed every student a healthy lunch, and strengthen French education, STEM, and union-led skilled trades programs.
